Olympic wrestler Sushil Kumar who was roped in to be the fourth judge of the reality show MTV Roadies, has reportedly walked out of it. The Sources say that Sushil Kumar had to ditch his television stint because of the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Sushil’s presence in the longest running reality show had made all his fans very happy. He was supposed to join Ranvijay singh, Karan Kundra and Neha Dhupia for MTV Roadies X4.
Wrestler Sushil Walks Out of Roadies X4
Just like the previous season X2, these celebrities were to have their own teams. These teams would then participate in tough tasks and following a series of eliminations, the winner was to be crowned.
The Boxer Vijender Singh and actress Esha Deol lead two teams in the previous instalment, MTV Roadies X2.
Commenting on the television stint, Sushil kumar had said, “TV for me is but a medium of communication and this is a good platform to engage with the youth, share my views and experiences with them.
I follow strict discipline in my sport and I would expect the same on the show.” Sushil kumar had also admitted that he will not tolerate any indiscipline on the show.
But, This news of Sushil kumar’s exit is saddening as we never know when we will see on screen the next time. The recipient of Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna, Sushil was undoubtedly one of the major attractions of MTV Roadies X4.
Looking at the other side, Sushil kumar has opted out for something which deserves more attention. We hope the 32 year old makes India proud at the Olympics and brings few medals. 🙂
