Quick answer: Meebhoomi (meebhoomi.ap.gov.in) is the Andhra Pradesh Revenue Department’s portal for land records such as the Adangal, ROR-1B, land maps and the electronic pattadar passbook. The portal now asks you to log in first: choose “Citizen Login”, enter your mobile number and the captcha, and verify the OTP (an Aadhaar OTP login is also offered). Then pick the record and select your district, mandal, village and survey or khata number. Changes such as mutation or Aadhaar seeding are applied for through the village or ward secretariat, not on Meebhoomi.

What is Meebhoomi?

Meebhoomi (“your land” in Telugu) is the public land records portal of the Department of Revenue, Government of Andhra Pradesh. It is run from the office of the Chief Commissioner of Land Administration (CCLA) in Mangalagiri, and it was designed, developed and hosted by the National Informatics Centre (NIC). Landowners, buyers and banks use it to check who holds a piece of land, its extent, its classification and its crops.

The site is heavily used: when we checked in October 2026, its counter showed more than 16 crore revenue records viewed and more than 6 lakh electronic passbook downloads.

Records you can see on Meebhoomi

  • Adangal (pahani): the village account kept by village revenue staff, known as Village Account No. 3. It records each survey number’s extent, land type, the enjoyer (occupant), crops grown and the water source, and its crop entries are updated as the seasons change.
  • ROR-1B: the record of rights maintained by the revenue department. It shows the pattadar (owner) and the land held under each khata. Banks and courts often ask for it.
  • Village map and FMB: the village map and the Field Measurement Book (FMB) sketch of each survey number, with its boundaries and measurements. An earlier version of this article said FMB sketches are “not used for measuring”; in fact they record the plot’s measurements.
  • LP map: the land parcel map issued in villages where the state’s land resurvey has been completed. In those villages, survey numbers may have been replaced by land parcel numbers, so always check you are looking at the current number.
  • Electronic pattadar passbook: a digital version of the landowner’s passbook, which lists the land held by the pattadar.
  • Aadhaar seeding status: whether your Aadhaar has been linked to your land account.

How to log in and check your Adangal or 1-B

  1. Open meebhoomi.ap.gov.in.
  2. Under Citizen Login, enter your mobile number and the captcha and click Get OTP. Enter the OTP and click Verify OTP. Alternatively, choose Aadhar Login and verify with an OTP sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
  3. From the menu, choose the record you want: Adangal, ROR-1B, village map or FMB, LP map, or electronic passbook.
  4. Select your district, mandal and village. (An earlier version of this article called the mandal a “zone”.)
  5. Enter the survey number, khata number or other details the form asks for.
  6. Click to view. You can print or save the record for reference.

The portal’s chatbot can also answer questions about Adangal, ROR-1B, LP maps and pattadar details. The portal warns users not to share Aadhaar numbers or other personal details in the chat.

Mutation, Aadhaar seeding and land conversion

Meebhoomi shows records; it does not process changes. The portal lists these Revenue Department services as available through the Grama Sachivalayam and Ward Sachivalayam (village and ward secretariats):

  • Mutation for transactions (after a sale, gift or inheritance)
  • Mutation for correction (to fix wrong entries)
  • Auto mutation
  • Aadhaar seeding of your land account
  • Land conversion for non-agricultural purposes

Visit your village or ward secretariat with your documents to apply, and use Meebhoomi to check the updated record afterwards. The earlier version of this article described linking Aadhaar and mobile numbers directly on Meebhoomi through a self-seeding page; that route is no longer shown on the portal’s home page.

Electronic passbook

Landowners can download their electronic pattadar passbook from Meebhoomi after logging in, by selecting the district, mandal and village and entering the khata number. The passbook lists the land recorded under the pattadar’s khata.

Complaints about land records and corruption

  • For errors in your record, apply for mutation for correction at the village or ward secretariat.
  • To report a bribe demand or corruption, the portal lists the toll-free number 14400.
  • The CCLA office is at APIIC Towers, IT Park, Auto Nagar, Mangalagiri.

Official apps and other websites

We could not find an official Meebhoomi mobile app listed on the portal. Several apps on app stores use the Meebhoomi name but are made by private developers. Use the official website, meebhoomi.ap.gov.in, and do not enter your Aadhaar or OTPs into unofficial apps. The portal also links to related state services, including a MeeBhoomi Blockchain site and the online revenue court cause list (ORCMS).

Before you rely on a Meebhoomi record

  • The on-screen record is for information. A bank or court may ask for a copy issued or attested by the revenue office, so ask your tahsildar’s office or MeeSeva centre if you need one.
  • Check the Adangal and ROR-1B together; they should match on the pattadar, extent and classification.
  • In resurveyed villages, use the LP map and the new land parcel number.
  • Before buying, also check the registered documents and encumbrances with the registration department.

Neighbouring Telangana has its own system; see our guide to the Dharani portal for Telangana land records. For Aadhaar-related links, see what you should link Aadhaar with, and to understand OTP-based verification, read how Aadhaar e-KYC works.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to log in to see my Adangal on Meebhoomi?

Yes. When we checked in October 2026, the portal asked users to log in with a mobile OTP or an Aadhaar OTP before viewing records.

What is the difference between Adangal and 1-B?

The Adangal is the village account of each survey number’s extent, occupant and crops, updated each season. The ROR-1B is the record of rights showing the pattadar and the land held under each khata.

How do I correct a mistake in my Meebhoomi record?

Apply for “mutation for correction” at your village or ward secretariat with supporting documents. Meebhoomi itself does not accept correction requests.

What is an LP map?

It is the land parcel map issued after a village has been resurveyed. In such villages, the land parcel number may replace the old survey number.

Is there an official Meebhoomi app?

We could not find one listed on the official portal. Use meebhoomi.ap.gov.in and avoid entering personal details into third-party apps.

This guide was checked in October 2026 against the Meebhoomi portal of the Department of Revenue, Government of Andhra Pradesh. Menus and login steps change, so follow the labels on the official site.
